How to: Set up a new hardware profile.
Solution:
Display 'My Computer Properties' and click the 'Hardware Profiles' tab. Create a new name and click 'Device Manager'. Double-click the device and select the hardware profile name to which device is to be added.
1) Right-click 'My Computer'. (A pop-up menu appears.)
2) Select 'Properties' from the pop-up menu. (The 'System Properties' dialog box appears.)
3) Click the 'Hardware Profiles' tab. (The 'Hardware Profiles' tabbed page appears.)
4) Click 'Copy...'. (The 'Copy Profile' dialog box appears.)
5) Type a name for the hardware profile in the 'To' box.
6) Click 'OK'.
7) Select the profile created in the above steps.
8) Click the 'Device Manager' tab. (The 'Device Manager' dialog box appears.)

9) Double-click the device to be included in the profile. (The '<device name> Properties' dialog box appears.)
10) Select the appropriate check box in the 'Device Usage' group.
11) Click 'OK'.
12) Repeat steps 9) through 11) for each device to be added to the profile.
13) Click 'OK' to close the 'System Properties' dialog box.
